Delve is very easy to learn and use individually or as a team. Using Delve has shortened our time to process text for coding and organizing for presentations. Delve has helped me reduce my hands-on analysis time that I was doing manually: reading Word transcripts, copying and pasting verbatims into a separate document, making notes about findings in yet another document, and writing into a PPT file.

Great feature set is very intuitive to learn and start using right away. Interface makes it very easy to construct codes, highlight and code text and view excerpts in different ways. Being able to code as little as a word or as much as a paragraph (or multiple paragraphs) results in more robust coding. Knowing that I can focus solely on coding and let the platform categorize the data for me means coding takes much less time than doing it by hand. Once I have coded everything, I can then view the data in different ways, start my analysis and find the story.

I had a demo of this software (maybe more than once) and kind of forgot about it until I had a project with 50 IDIs! The pain of slogging through 50 transcripts reminded me of Delve and I signed up on the spot. I’ve used it on every project since. It’s so easy. Delve was incredibly easy to use. I’ve used NVivo in the past for qualitative data analysis and it’s hard to set up, the UI is difficult to navigate and the platform unreliable, but Delve was none of those things. It was incredibly easy to import and manage my data and then go about the coding for my research project.

I used Delve to analyse twelve one-hour interviews with heritage school leaders from a range of cultural backgrounds. The data was rich, nuanced, and deeply contextual, requiring a tool that could support thoughtful, systematic analysis without adding technical complexity. Delve delivered exactly that.

One of the most impressive aspects of Delve is its intuitive coding interface. The visual layout made it easy to organise and refine codes, helping me stay focused on the data rather than the mechanics of the software.

Among the many things that Delve brings to the table, my favorite feature is the Grouping/Categorizing and the Search function. These may not appear as complex features but compared to traditional tools, such as pen and paper or word processors, they prove to be very useful when conducting qualitative analysis.

Delve is a great tool for qualitative market researchers who have numerous transcripts to wade through. Being able to tag and categorize quotes makes writing a report so much quicker and easier.

I also really like the ability to add categories ‘on the fly’ while I’m reading and the ability to export out the quotes by category/participants into Excel makes the tool even better.

I’ve never had to use a software for my qualitative analysis - so it’s interesting and yet challenging to use an entirely new software as a first timer. Its user-friendly interface made coding and refining themes straightforward, while the export options (to Word, Excel, and PDF) allowed me to integrate outputs directly into the dissertation. It also allowed me to import my transcripts directly as words instead of typing them out which would have discouraged me from using it.

My favorite part about Delve was the ability to pull the codes around and create an outline for my research projects. The data analysis was my favorite part of using Delve. Delve helped conduct qualitative research. I used it to code and find connections between 14, 60-minute interviews with experts. I used the findings for my MS thesis and later to build storytelling around each.

Also, the tutorials are short so you don’t have to spend lots of time to understand how the tool works. This aspect was very important for me, as I didn’t had lots of time to work with the data. I also liked how easy it was to code the material and then export in doc. and the fact that the doc. maintains the headings for the categories and codes. It made it easier to work with the material.

Delve gets you to experience it first. To guarantee the quality of their tool. Other than they give a very long free trial, they also give student discounts. Also, the simplicity and the ease in navigating their tool is commendable.

I loved how easy this software was to use. I’d looked at and downloaded a couple other options first and they were difficult to figure out as well as a drain on my hardware resources. Delve is cloud-based, so it worked great with my MacBook. It was very intuitive and their customer service was fantastic.

I have used delve to analyze +60 pages of transcripts for my master thesis and it was indeed a game changer. The software was way cheaper compared to competing software and it made it very easy to code, analyze and export data. I have a few time contacted customer service and every time I have received an answer within an hour. Furthermore, their youtube videos on how to conduct a qualitative analysis are really worth watching if you don’t have any experience in this type of analysis.

Also, there is no steep learning curve involved. You simply upload or paste your transcripts and start coding. Most importantly, Delve is intuitive. I wish I had had this years ago when my work was even more focused on cultural anthropology. Delve is a super streamlined QDA. It’s simple to code a couple of levels of transcript data and get it to a place where you can analyze and create meaning. Unlike other similar tools, Delve isn’t super feature-rich, but this is a strength! Delve provides plug-and-play transcript coding. Couldn’t be simpler. I’m also excited to see where the tool goes in the future. It’s a newcomer to the QDA world and the team is very responsive to user needs and feedback.

I use Delve to derive insights from interviews I conduct in the process of creating new plays and musicals. The software has made it so easy to code and analyze material within a single project, and also helps me to keep track of interviews across multiple projects. All the additional features like nesting codes and adding demographic data have also really helped to streamline the work. And perhaps most importantly, Delve makes it easy and intuitive to share my results with my collaborators.

Delve is the qualitative data analysis tool I was waiting for! I have periodic projects requiring qualitative data analysis of interview transcripts in English and sometimes French. Within a few minutes of signing up, I had dragged transcripts into the project panes and was coding data. It is easy-to-use, with a clean interface that required no lag-time of reviewing instructions or familiarizing myself with the tool.
