HCI and computer science research that used Delve
HCI and computer science researchers use Delve for the qualitative strand of user studies, and the results show up at CHI, ICER, and ESEC/FSE and in ACM journals. The studies cover accessibility, social media use among teenagers, virtual reality, developer tools, and software product management.
Interviews and think-aloud or observation transcripts are the usual data, and the analysis is one method among several in the paper. More than half of these studies coded as a pair or team, and most of those describe how they compared codes. Thematic analysis leads, with grounded theory used for a few of the larger studies.
