Medical research that used Delve

Medical research in Delve is usually a two-coder study published in a clinical journal, from Cancer Medicine and Frontiers in Oncology to the Journal of Clinical and Translational Science. The studies cover patient experience, medical and surgical education, health services, and evidence reviews, and come from academic medical centers and universities on four continents.

Interviews with patients, clinicians, and trainees are the most common data, followed by documents for scoping and systematic reviews and open-ended survey responses. Two-thirds of these papers describe coding by two or more researchers, and about half discuss how agreement was reached, because clinical journals commonly ask for an explicit account of the analysis software and the coding process.
